Oregon Knife Collectors Association Eugene Show recap

The show in Eugene was a hoot. My work was warmly received and I am both surprised and proud to be walking away with three awards- one for Best Hunter, Best New Maker and Best Display Knife. Display knives this year was a competition in which Murray Carter donated ten blades and the club selected ten makers to handle and finish the knives. There was some A+ and more informed handles submitted than mine, so this takeaway was very unexpected but a joy all the same.
