Oregon Knife Collectors show

I don't see a list of what makers are attending the show. I would very much like to see who is attending before I make plans to go.

I was just thinking today about getting a table and sell some of these old dusty Busse knives. I'm pretty sure Brian (Okuden knives/sheaths) is going to have a table and I think Troy usually has a Swamp Rat/ Scrapyard table. It is a pretty large show and has many good deals there, if I can get to them before Bill Siegle does!!! There won't be a Blade West show in Portland this year, so it might be the only close/driveable show in 2010.

No Busses, unfortunately. But at least the Pasadena Convention Center is close to where I live.

How is the "Southern California Blade Expo"? I live close and would like to go? Any Busse or Hossom blades???

Scott was there for a couple of years, but I don't think he has been the last two and I haven't heard any plans yet on this year.....................

It's OK. No Busses and no Hossoms to the best of my knowledge, but better than a jab in the eye with a sharp stick! ;)

Blade West is better, of course. But the show was pretty small last year and I can understand why Blade wouldn't want to bear the expense of doing it again this year. Still, without Blade West, I may never again have the opportunity to see a bunch of Busse knives up close and personal. :(
 
maybe we will be lucky and get the traveling trunk show next year, it is hard to believe Jerry will neglect his west coast fan base :eek:
