Hey all, since I'm new here I suppose it would be rude to not introduce myself
My name is Chris, I'm 28 and reside in the great state of Ohio. I've been collecting firearms and knives for roughly 10yrs now and just recently my collection has become...well...let's just say it's un-friggin-managable..time to organize and downsize
My goal essentially, is to organize/catalog/photograph each knife in an efficient manner so that I can create a web page to showcase and eventually sell many of them through.
So I suppose my first question would be: Can anyone recommend a specific piece of software over another (e.g EXCEL) that will allow me to complete the cataloging phase of this fairly daunting task in an efficient manner? After some quick searching it seems there are softwares created specifically for organizing gun/knife collections but are any of them worth the buy?
Any advice on this entire process will be greatly appreciated, I've got alot of work to do!
