Randall knives are the first thing I've ever collected, that people weren't obsessed about the original box. It is a nice change.

Crazy how in some instances the box is worth more than the item.
 
Since they don't ship in a fancy box, there's nothing really to worry about. You *do* see shipping wrapping and included papers in some instances, but that doesn't seem that prevalent.
 
My Model 14 came wrapped in random sheets of news paper from that "Florida Fat Man". No box. I didn't even get a receipt with my order.
 
The only one that came with a box(from what I can remember)was one that I ordered/received from Nordic Knives. All others had the butcher paper wrap with additional padding/wrap and stuffed into a usps box.
