This knife was sent to me as partial payment for work I'm doing on another. Its so close to original condition that if I had the box it came in I'd have to say its near original factory mint shape. The blade is unsharpened and appears unsused. If it has been carried and used it certainly has not been for very long. Based on my experience its a very rare find these days to see one of Ernie's early knives in this shape. I have seen only a few of these when they were newer knives and it seems to be just like what was being shipped by EKI at the time back when they were still getting things going and trying to get off their feet. It is a prime example of his early work in the infancy of his company.
Very clean knife, all original screws handles in surperb shape. The pics tell it all.
This one has the thicker liners as you can see from the pics.
I'll say 95% condition comfortably. Maybe better though.
