Hi everybody !

I recently bought a Chris Reeve Small Sebanza 21 from a reputable shop in USA. It costs me USD 240 through a friend of mine. It has the tool, the birth cert, the box and a piece of Chris Reeve cloth in it. I checked through all the websites, and it cost USD350, so I am curious whether my knife is original or not ?

Can you guys help me ?

BTW mind is a left handed Small Sebanza 21 Stonewash Plain and it is new.

Thank you !

You will need to post pics of the knife, including box and birth card, to determine whether it is authentic or not.

How should we know?

With so little information would it be any comfort if one of us said it's real or conversely would it be any worry if one of us said it's fake?

I would say the blade is likely real but the scales are faked. The birth cirt is definitely a forgery.

hi ! can you guys teach me how to upload pictures on here ? either using an iphone or a camera :D thank you !
Your easiest option will be to use an image hosting website such as imageshack.us, photobucket.com, or flickr.com. Once loaded there, they can easily be displayed here....or you could help support the forum and purchase a membership that will allow you to host images here.

And so far the fakes haven't had the "Idaho Made" on them nor have they had the box and birth certificate counterfeited........ yet.

As others have said, looks good.
You owe somebody a few beers for getting you such a great deal. I hope that you enjoy that sweet knife for a very long time.

This is how I understand things to be as well. That knife is genuine and you got a great deal. :)

Unfortunately, this is no longer true. A few minutes of googling "Sebenza" or "Chris Reeve Knife" and you'll see. A practiced eye can still spot incorrect grinds and screw styles, but the fakes are continuing to get less and less obvious. The best advice is still to buy from reputable dealers and individuals.
