Just wondering what were the retail list prices for 1990's era Sebenza's? I'm sure plenty of folks on this forum remember what they originally sold for back then...right?

This is the price list from 1992. It's interesting that the Sebenza was a small part of the CRK inventory at the time. The majority of pieces were the One Piece line.

I also have a 1994 P decorated Large Sebenza and the price tag on the box is $350.

The price was $325, that was H Sebenza in year 1990. I own the magazine(1990) Chris first time introduced Sebenza in the article:

Just for S&G, in 1992 a $265 Sebenza was roughly $441 in today's money, and a $325 Sebenza in 1990 would be $581 today. I know you're all wondering. ;)

Without advances in technology and manufacturing, imagine what they'd cost today.

Great thread. Would love to see more history.

I make a habit of saving all the booklet sheets that are given out at Blade(other knife shows as well) every year. It will be interesting to see them 20 yrs from now. Hope im around to start a thread with them!

Interesting information!
It is interesting how their focus has shifted over the years from the one piece knives into the wide variety they offer today.
