I have two Arsenal AK's, one in 5.45 and the other in 7.62 and have found them to both be outstanding rifles. The stock is a great stock, strong polymer and has the lightening cut and the trap door for the cleaning kit and the sling loop and there really is not much else to say other than it is a good strong stock. Recently I have come across a web site selling original Russian stocks in the same pattern as the Arsenals or the other way around since the Arsenals are patterned after the modern Russian AK. I have joined an AK forum and I am waiting to post there. But i have heard that the original stocks are some what better than the us made ones, there is the 922r law so being a foreign part on an AK it would not be counted as a compliant part but I think that I would have enough parts to be legal but I would still keep the US stock. So if any one has any experience with the original Russian parts let me know. Not really expecting too many responses.
