Orion Flares

They work. A bit different than Mil
Spec but close to same. Now days I carry SkyBlazer flares cuz thats easiest to get.
 
I have used a mil-spec pen flare before, not a highly effective flare really, unless someone was looking your way during that 6.5 seconds; same thing really for all of the sub 37mm flares.
