Nice.

One note: Bundaxt, like most carpenter axes, generally come with a straight handle.

Carvings are similar no the ones Austrians made on their single beveled Goosewing broad axes 250 years ago.

I have an old (younger than 250 I think) Austrian goosewing with those markings. I believe it is some type of Christian symbol. Many Austrian goosewings also have a symbol representing the "Tree of Life" as you can see lower down on my axe.

For what it's worth, before Christianity, the Tree of Life was a Germanic pagan symbol known as Yggdrasil ;)

Like many religious converts, when the pagans made the switch to Christianity, they took much of their symbolism and rituals along with them.

Nice goosewing, by the way

Back on track, I that bundaxt. I might need one

Interesting history on that tree of life symbolism, thanks. Yeah that Neeman bundaxt is very sweet, sweet enough to make me consider scoring with an axe instead of a chainsaw!
