I had a customer request that I make him a blade just like the Sugar in Osage Orange I have on my website. So just like the other blade, he wanted more of an aged Osage Orange, but instead of the model being an overall of 6.5in, he wanted to increase the blade and handle length by 1/2 in. This brought the overall to 7.5. He also wanted the liners and pinouts to be natural canvas and to give the blade a good swedge.
He also requested a dark texture to the blade to give it a higher contrast to the bevels. I came up with a new texture for my NitroV that I’m totally keeping now because it looks freaking awesome.
I’ve also decided to add this new model to my rotation and I have named it Sugar Mama, since it’s just a bigger version of my model Sugar. (Plus, who doesn’t want a sugar mama?)
He had an incredible vision because this has been one of my favorite knives I’ve ever made!!
