Osborne/George...Knives and Marlin Fishing

Two of my favorite hobbies are marlin fishing and knife collecting. I decided to combine the two with two of my favorite artists, what do you think?

Warren's knives are consistently well-made. A perfect start to a project--or an end!

I was staring at the engraving and admiring the engraver's use of free space. Absolutely beautiful, and I have seen a gazillion engraved pieces. I didn't register your title when I opened it and kept studying the form to see if I could place the artist. I settled on Tim George first.

Then I reread the title...!

Wonderful.

I know Tim George, he is a member of FEGA and I talk to Tim every year at Reno show .. Tim as far as I am conserned one of the finest engravers out there and his gold inlays are just fantastic , Tim has just completed a Colt saa for the Colt Collectors show auction and it is just breath taking .. good job Tim .. see you in reno .. ron p.

to see this Colt go to the FEGA site and click on to members photos and look for Tims name and click on that ..
 
It was a "4 years in the making" project. Actually, the idea is around six years old...but that's another story I'd rather forget...
