I had to photograph the scuff separate, its only visible at certain angles. I scuffed the blade when sharpening it, I discounted the blade due to the scuff.

I will have an update later this week on the Mega Batch, I plan on posting a few more blades up for you guys in a few weeks.
 
Can't wait to see what this mega batch ends up looking as. Quick question: assuming you're saving the best for this year's Blade show, is there an opportunity for people to buy knives, whether yours, Allen's, or Andy's, online while the show is happening? Or do you all generally only sell your show pieces at the show.

I plan on posting up some for sale for you guy's that weekend. My tentative plan is to have a online sale for you guy's that Saturday evening. I likely will not post anything up that weekend until Saturday afternoon or evening. There are a couple of reasons for this, it's pretty hectic on the showroom floor. I anticipate being tied up talking and showing my work on the floor. Second, the people that paid money to travel there and for admission to purchase a knife in person from me, some people wait all year long for this. I think it's only fair to give these people a fair crack at what I bring first.

I definitely intend on bringing you guys as close to the action as I can. Last year I started posting knives for sale Saturday afternoon via my Instagram page. I had a hand full of people last year pick up some exceptional Blades from me this way.

I will post on Instagram that weekend, there is a slight possibility I could also post on the forum but not likely.

I plan on hitting the ground running making more after Blade show after I take a few days off, so If you or anyone misses out you will have an opportunity to claim something soon after.

I hope this helps a little, I will give more specifics and keep you guys posted so there is no guessing when or where to get in on the action.

Holy Hell is the OD Nomad light and a flippin outstanding slicer!! It works in a Diomedes Baron sheath, a JouFuu Runt ISP and a KSF Pocket sheath - but not if they're previously used or stretched in any way simply because it would fall out. And I seriously can't tell if the knife or the sheath is lighter/heavier. I'm confident that the KSF Pocket sheath is heavier but can't tell on the other two.

Slicing with this blade stock thickness is just amazing and this is the first knife (of the OKT, FF, WAS selection) where I can easily use it for peeling.

My only suggestion would maybe be a lanyard hole. This is one where I'd use a lanyard to get a bit more purchase on it and to prevent any potential drops. For another model variant, something like this Nomad model but maybe with a 3 1/4" blade would be nice too.


So Chris, because you mentioned doing some 1/16" Warthogs in the past couple days ... Whenever you get around to that reduced Apache, I would definitely take one with and commando LVA CF and 1/16" stock if that is doable. And I'd take a commando LVA CF 1/16" Warthog too just because. I still think my ideal all around performer would be a 1/8" TT but for more dedicated slicing and food work, this 1/16" thickness is the shizzle.
