*There is a small discolored spot on the butt of the knife I assume it is oxidation from the brass in the weave. I have not seen it before in the material. I am marking the material down for that reason.(See picture below)

I already like it in other knife brands so I'm really looking forward to getting some of your knives with it.

Before I had the correct sharpening/ maintaining equipment though, I kinda disliked S35VN .. and M390 .. and S110V. Just couldn't get an edge right and forget about reprofiling.

I was bummed to read you lost 6 blades out of 8 but your comments about going through belts quickly didn't surprise me. It's pretty tough stuff.

I was bummed too, I didnt actually lose any during grinding. The first batch went bad because I was unaware the Turco I ise on CPM154 to create and oxygen barrier reacts negativley to S35vn. The other 2 I lost where in the second batch I heat treated with foil and warped on me , I have never used the foil before and it proved to be a little challenging. I dont think its anything I cant over come with practice.

I have already made plans to order more soon. And yes it goes through belts a lot faster!

Thank you! I am really pleased with how all the bolsters truned out in this batch. I am calling it a night. I will check back in in the morning. Thank you everyone for their compliments and continued support. It is much appreciated!

Hi Chris.

Great looking batch of knives this week.

Do either of the two left have wide scales that would suit XL hands well? It's hard to tell from the photos.

I believe either one will suit you, My hands are on the cusp of L/XL I can go either way. Both have a full give me a full hand worth of handle. I have quite a few customers with larger hands than mine and I am sure they would find both of these pleasing to use. I am not quite sure how XL you hands are. I do offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
If you purchase a knife from me and you are unsatisfied for any reason, return it to me unused original condition within that 30 day period and I will refund your money or make arrangements to replace it with something more suitable to you.

Please let me know if I can answer anymore questions or be more specific in a certain area.

Thanks for the response, Chris. Very helpful.

And I think the 30 day money back guarantee is a great idea. I have enough of your knives to know that the fit and finish will be excellent, but there's nothing like being able to get your paws on a knife when it comes to sorting out if it's right for you.

I'm mulling it over...very tempted. I can't believe those two are still available actually!
