Checked the mail yesterday and found a knife that Chris and I had discussed the last time I was at the shop. It's one of his Warthog EDC models with coffee bag burlap bolsters and tangerine burlap scales. Wow, Chris did n amazing job with the fit and finish. I really like this model a lot and I will be putting it through the paces over the next little while. Today I just took it on a wander with me so I could take some initial shots before I start carrying it.

I'm not going to do a lot of words with this, mostly just let the photos speak for themselves.

As it turns out, the Jou Fuu Scoutpouch sheath for the Hiking Buddy and Bushboot fits it nearly perfectly, it just snaps right in, nice and secure but not hard to get out.

I found a few grapes today, as well as a few muscadines but none were really ripe yet.

The passion fruit is getting close, but still a bit tart and twangy.

More on this knife later, but so far all I can say is wow, and very nicely done Chris!

.

Excellent pictures Brian. Chris is killing it, would it be ok for me to add a few pictures of my Warthog Hunter here? He's also making one of his other models for my wife right now that will be her primary kitchen knife.

Nice looking one. Where can i get one?

They have been showing up now and then in the Friday post, of you can talk to Chris, I'm sure he'll chime in later.

Thank you. Yes he is, I have checked out several of his knives over time and I really like the work he is doing. The Warthog EDC is a great size for me.

Sure man, I don't mind. It may help people get a better idea of the sizes of each.

That is a great looking knife! Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos!

Chris does very nice work. I love that I can see Andy's influences, but that Chris also has his own style and approach to things. I have a "thing" for first-finger notches and I really like this knife a lot.

I have one I got for my wife. It is in Swedish Birch & CPM154. Awesome knife!

My wife would kill me
Or at least be real mad and not worth the grief

 Chris has been doing some real nice work. I like the tangerine and coffee burlap combo. I just scored a sweet looking EDU from him last Friday, can't wait to get it!:D

That tangerine/coffee is a cool combo. There's not one posted here that I don't like. Chris is making some dandies!
I have a Warthog on order. Can't wait to hear that he is working on it.

Man, Brian, those pics are excellent. That knife is beautiful. I love the Orange on Orange.
