OSS Smatchet?

I believe this is a Smatchet but I don’t have much experience with these knives. Can anyone confirm if this is an original and maybe provide more information? Thanks!

Also: Is there a way to determine the difference between US and British versions? I assume the Case knives are marked?

Quite possibly a fake from Atlanta Cutlery. Made in India by Windlass Steelcrafts, 1970s or a bit later.
