So I received a gift from a fellow Survivor today! Its not a survive! knife but it is still cool! Perfectly timed also, since I have recently had a piqued interest in traditional folders. This guy is a very thoughtful gift giver. He told me He tried to find an orange handled one, but they were unavailiable. He knows I love fishing so he got me the fishing oriented pattern of his favorite traditional folder! If you know anything of taditional folder patterns, you may be able to figure out who sent it to me.

Thanks Justin!

Well welcome to the club. I been carrying case since old timer went over seas. Not always the best quality but still pretty good bang for the buck. I love how there CV patinas.

I'm just going to sit back and watch the bromance unfold :D

Very cool gift! I got to visit the Case headquarters in Bradford, Pennsylvania as a teen, but didn't know much at all about good knife brands back then.

Pretty awesome to see how a real community has grown here over the last year. Carry on, gentlemen!:thumbup:

Looks like a Texas Toothpick to me. I bought one of their little ones back when TSA allowed carrying knives for a short while.

Always liked the long thin blades on the toothpick and muskrat traditionals. I'm thinking maybe I know where the necker came from now.

My dads carried a trapper since long before I was born, and still does everyday. Its so worn now you can't tell the brand. (Old timer) his grandfather gave it to him as a child.

Besides toothpicks I love the moose pattern. Just something bout it.

Right now stockmans with long slender clips, toothpicks and this pattern called a Mako made by GEC is really looking nice. Something about the slender clip blades catch my eye. I ordered a GEC Dixie Stockman last week. It should get here wednesday. I blame Tex for starting this. When he told me about the generous gift I started looking at traditionals.

Congrats Riz! Knives make great gifts as they are both cool guy gear as well as useful! I agree needle, it really is nice to see how the community here has grown and how the posting of new BF members seems to be on the rise as well!
