OT: a great day

So since my incedent I've had very few good days. Well a busy calls me early in the am and asks how I'm feeling and I was feeling good except for being woke up! Well he says he is coming over and for me to get dressed so I do and 30min later he calls and says come outside he is there on his bike and next to it is my favorite bike a honda rc51 he throws me a helmet and says let's go and thanks his buddy who dropped the bike off with his truck so we hit the back road down to Williamsburg I take off like I stole it! It was such a good feeling to be back on a bike especially that bike again! No I know in my condition I shouldn't be riding especially the way I do fast and hard leans in the turns( I never had chicken strips on my tires) but I had to do it I feel alive again!
 
Knees in the breeze, nothing like it. I'm happy that you had a fun day and a good time. :D

Don't be so sure. There are a lot of back roads here. I have to drive 9 miles from my house before I hit blacktop so I know how to ride on back roads. Of course, on asphalt my Sporty would eat your RC51 up and spit it out all over the highway. Just sayin'.

Dude you got no idea I sold my Harley right after I got it and have been stuck in my tiny apt for about 2years now and to get out on my favorite bike ever was A dream ! No I shouldn't have been on it but I was willing to take the risk! I've are pavement more than once so 1 more time wouldn't matter I all ready got a head injury .. Lol.

We will see! Lol....but I'd feel horrible I'd something happened to you while we were screwing off! I'd never forgive my self
 
The RC51 sure looks like a great bike. Glad you had fun! Nothing like riding fast bikes, and hanging out with good friends.
 
I really need to get my FJ1200 out from under the cover and blow the cobwebs out of her !!!! The dirt bike (aka Zombie Express) has taken all my two wheel time the last few years... !!!

nice to hear you had a good time! :thumbup: i had to google that bike - seems the us versions are named differently than euro spec - i could never ride a motorcycle myself - i have however shown some tourist bikers how to drive our mountain roads in my cars on more than one occasion :D

It's a great bike I used to have 2 of them 1 was a Nicky Haden replica bike I had all kind of stuff done to them. I've had a lot of bikes and the rc51 is my favorite.
