for myself, I find some of it can be quite good, some quite bad. Since Bollywood turns out more movies a year than anywhere else, it's probably not surprising for there to be quite a bit of bad stuff.
 
The Indian film industry. 90% of the films are the same story with different characters, tunes and dances. Most of it is just too hokey for me -- village girls always clean, coiffed, made up and with clean feet and there is never any cow$hit in the streets.

Yes, the Indian film industry. It's called Bollywood, on the model of Hollywood - but with a 'B' since the Indian film industry is based largely in Bombay. (Sometimes the Nepali film industry, mainly in Kathmandu, is called Kollywood on the same basis. )
