OT: Anyone here know a literary agent?

Work directly with the publisher if you can. My dad has gone both through an agent and directly from the publisher, and yet again he' strying to track down the agent to get royalty money he's been owed since APril or so

I don't know, Danny, but in a couple months hope to be in your position. MY plan this time around is to skip direct submission and go to an agent. It seems it would be hard to approach a publisher without one. just thinking aloud.
For every bad story about an agent, there's one about an icecream vendor, a lawyer, St Peter, or the US servicemen in Iraq. Pays your money and takes your chances: there are bad and good men everywhere.

etp has the right idea. Try working direct with publisher. If you must get an agent if he asks for upfront money move on.
