Hi,
Does anyone have any information about this type of sword?
I've sent the seller an inquiry but thought someone here might know something about it or be interested. It looks like a well made piece.
I wonder if it is sharpened on the inside of the curve, outside, or both.
Regards,
Greg

Edit; The seller was very fast in responding (always a pleasure dealing with people like that): It's the same as a khukuri the inside edge!

Ayda Katta is cool. Inner edge sharpened only. One of the few blades traditionally worn slung across the back, like the Scot Claymore. That one you're looking at is in better shape than any I've seen; it'd be a nice piece for anyone's collection.

The shape always makes me hungry for Froot Loops.

Tommy,
Thanks for the info and yeah, there sure is a certain resemblance to
to "Toucan Sam" there.

n2s,
Thanks for the link, looks like it's well travled anyway.

Regards,
Greg
