Need to make some custom turn signal brakcets, and tyring to see what I have around shop to make it. Found some 1/8" cold rolled(or whatever the non NP stock is) that I think would work for it, but I have to make a 90 deg. bend. How hard is this likely to be? Is it something I can do with a vice and big hammer, or should I find something else to make it from(ie some ALuminum bar stock or something). Can use high carbon if y'all think that'll be best, but would have to worry about weatherproofing it somehow then, so trying to avoid that.

Shouldn't be any problem bending 1/8" 440c but unless you heat treat it, it's still gonna rust on you, but then you probably already knew that so I shouldn't even have let it slip out my cake hole. :D

Heh, actually, it's one of those things I knew in back of my mind, but never having actually used it for a blade(and being lazy bum who so rarely works on blades lately), it had slipped my mind, so glad you mentioned it. Thanks. :)

I ended up just getting some 1" aluminum angle iron(not sure what else to call it, though obviously not iron) instead so that I wouldn't have to bend, just cut it to shape. THanks though guys.
