I came here to BF because this is where the ESEE forum is, and found it's a great place! Most of the folks are pretty cool, the trolls are rare, and there's not many of those poor souls that can't ever stop themselves from having the last word. They just won't go extint, but every forum seems to have them it seems. :yawn: oh well, it's cool to support the forum too.
BUT...my recent week long solo trip was needed for some clarity. I had gotten caught up in the HEST/f stuff and that was cool...reading every post for two months, then reading tons of the old stuff..but hey, I'm on the list!
RYP and his crew will send me the email...and I'm gonna get busting thru my small amount of fall work for my clients and try to get into the boundary waters pretty seriously by October 1st. It's been 5 years since I got out for over 2 weeks at one time, and its time for a much longer trip! All my wife said is "I better be back by Thanksgiving!" ... so we'll see.
Thanks again for all the great folks here. Welcomes, PM's from folks I know other places, and invites to join you guys in the chat room - very nice! You made this old infantry grunt feel welcome and you already know that you guys share a love for a great "family of knives."
