If they drafted women can you imagine how many women would be walking around trained to set up fields of fire and have actual hands-on expeience in the use of automatic weapons?

Want to bet the incidence of husband's forgetting their anniversaries or wife's birthdays drops to an all time low almost immediately? One claymore under the driver's seat could ruin your whole day!
:D :D :D

I think women are ideal for intelligence work since it's been my experience that they are adept at reading minds, foiling schemes, and instantly recalling minute details of irrevelent events that took place months, even years, earlier, like the time you got mad and hung up the phone on her mom.

A woman walked up to me in the market earlier today and told me she remembered my comment about women and machine guns every time she saw me shopping. I couldn't recall it til she explained basically what I put up in the first post.

(I'd once seen her trying to shop with 3 preschoolers, two of which were very verbal and very mobile. I also knew she was not as cool calm and collected as she was trying to appear.)

If there are very many like my wife they won't last long in war. She is a wonderful mother and the best wife a guy could ask for. But, the fisrt time she saw me cut real bad I almost passed out from blood loss and shock, and she almost passed out from seeing it.:D :D

I had the oppportunity to play paintball for years with soem ex-mil folks, got to apply a bunch of fire concepts and small unit tactics.

Well, we had soem girls that wanted ot play, so we got them familiar with the gear. We explained that this was merely a game of tag. They used 1/10th of the paint that the guys would use, and had very high kill ratios (my buddy Jack's wife scored 10 kills with 11 paintballs all day, and the 11th one was "because the guy didn't take the hit.")

Anyhow, to make a long story short, each of the girls we played with were less likely to get all worked up and start spraying paint. They were calmer, more aware of concealment and cover, and of a singular mind when given a task. They were able to show a bunch of macho poser hotheads what a few girls could do, and that was most of the fun. made us think about things too. A woman with serious training would be as likely if not more likely to get the job done, perhaps just cuz all the guys would underestimate her, but also because women can tolerate a lot more stress and pain than a man.

I had a Navy instructor who explained that the major difference he saw between men and women was outcome-oriented vs. process-oriented. Of course this is a generalization, but he said it was very apparent in his experience. The very small percentage of women who went through his classes demonstrated this to a high degree and normally finished top of the class.

The females of the species being able to handle more pain sounds to me like another generalization. I have had my pelvis broken on the left cracked on the right. And left knee almost pulled apart. There was no pain medication taken. Military and civilian doctors have informed me that my pain tolerance is high enough to almost be dangerous for my own welfare. I know that I am not the only on like this.

I'm not too sure about the stress facters either.

Point to me is not whether 9 of 10 women "don't have it". The point is if the 1 out of 10 that "do have it" learns, she usually learns real good.

Let me rephrase it. If a well trained doberman gets the order to go for my crotch and make hamburger, I don't care if it's male or female.
