That second set would be a real find if A. they were a matching set and B. the tools were still in place. Trousses really need at least half the implements to bring the neccesary value. Finding a true matched pair of kukris is a rare and wonderful thing. Here is a very nice set with silver furniture and blue velvet scabbards.

You're right. A replacement grip that does look like a garden tool. There is something not quite right about the frog either, but this is a 20thc kukri that has seen better days.

I just fell in love with the title...it's a 50's murder mystery by Fredric Brown.

It's a Fredric Brown novel, I haven't heard of this one. I'm a big fan of his. My favorite is still Martians Go Home. What other books of his do you have?
