a few observations made on the way to work tonite:
=======================================
1. The Pope - Habemus Papam
I can hear her indoors shouting even as i type - "BASIL, DON'T MENTION THE WAR!"
However i can't help myself, being politically incorrect is instinctive.
anyway, we now have an ex-wermacht/jugend korps member taking the place of a pole, so, big deal, not the first time this century a german has taken over polish occupied territory.
i personally think they should have elected a hebrew Rabbi, they then could have started singing Oy Veh Maria
Pabst Blue Ribbon?
2. Bicyclists
coming in to work tonite about 7:30 pm, i passed two bicyclists (one adult one child ) at different times, it's about an hour before dark, on a twisty country road in england, so it's just wide enuff for two mini-cars to pass & the one was dressed all in black, the other in grey, no lights - do they have a death wish? (if so they could try wearing a dark green camouflage suit & paint their bikes green also) i'd be wearing florescent yellow & international orange with red & white LED's blinking along with a few thousand candlepower front & rear lights, ah, well another pair whose swim in the gene pool will be cut short. like that guy in the bear thread on round 2.
3. Drivers, all women tonite - WHY do they insist on pulling out of side streets right in front of you then slow down to 2/3 the speed limt when there was no-one behind you? ARRRGH! just made it to work on time.
===================================
anyhow, the above is my personal observations based on a well-known eccentric mentality & if i have offended anyone - tough!
