FYI....

http://www.eia.doe.gov/pub/oil_gas/...ompany_level_imports/current/summary2003.html
think about this..
This GOV. link will tell you who you can buy your gas from, without funding the ones trying to kill us.

For example, a company like Motiva, which is partly owned by Saudi Refining Inc., would be expected to import a large percentage from the Persian Gulf,

while Citgo Petroleum Corporation, which is owned by the Venezuelan state oil company, would not be expected to import a large percentage from the Persian Gulf, since most of their imports likely come from Venezuela.

this just part of what was mailed to me though their spec's were old..
so I left that stuff out.

The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor.
An
interesting thought is to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up the
car,
you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just
buy
from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up
the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my
family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know
which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies
not to buy from

hey reply to this once in a while to keep it up on top to get more guys thinking about a simple way to keep the money from them look at the numbers BIG time Numbers..that we are paying to kill ourselves,

if that don't get you going ..

$.05 cents a gal for these :footinmou and we are giving it to them to sell and some are getting rich from our tax dollars. in the tune of over 500 million
every 3 months .. in our tax dollars. :grumpy:

Good topic. I didn't even know that this data was available.

I just checked the stats on the link you supplied. I am using Shell Oil Company, (which now includes Texaco). Their Saudi import figures equate to 0%. That's good to know. :)

That's an interesting link. I have been buying my gas from Texaco/Shell so I guess I'm good. I stopped buying my gas from the big companies (mostly Exxon) after working for Exxon for a brief period. Once I found out how they operated and learned of what kind of sleazeballs they have running their companies I left. They have no other objectives besides MONEY and they don't care what the consequences are, as long as they rake in a sh$tload.

President Bush will go into full gear once the second term is decided upon. President Bush, although politically savy, is patient and determined. The sparks shall really fly in a few more months. (my thoughts and hopes.)

yes shell owns Texaco I believe... but

Terry .. :( look at the stats again, it reads 1 barrel =1000

SHELL OIL CO 107,523 ((((503))))) 0%
it's showing 0 just because it's under 25% of their import intake..
they imported 503000 barrels in 2003 from them

SHELL CHEM LP <<<< not a problem
SHELL US TRADG CO 40,662 1,160 3% <<<problem

this one is for other than fuel use...
SHELL OIL PRODTS US <<<< not a problem,,

if that don't get you going ..

We just need to buy old VW rabbits with the diesel engines and start running our left over cooking oil in them. It looks to me that if we can engineer a friggin tobacco plant that glows in the dark, then we should be able to engineer a corn plant that is nothing but kernals of oil for fuel.

That's not too far-fetched, Mark. One of the fuel oil companies up here in my town also sells bio-diesel. Talk about the huge exodus of farmers from the Midwest into the cities looking for jobs... Thinks me the gov'ment ought to start subsidizing those poor bastids to start growing all the soy they can and we start filling our own pockets with oil. Besides that, you'd think that if they can make a suitable diesel out of vegetable oil then they could probably take it a step further into gasoline, heh?

methane is running out of Beef every day and a lot of it..
do we not have the technology to use it?
or is it the big companies greed that is stopping it..I'll bet it's the latter.
sounds like a shiety deal to me..

Mark...I agree 100%
The problem again is the darn government sticking it's nose in when It's not needed. Sure we can build one but in states that have emissions inspections (thank god Va hasn't joined the insanity....Yet) it will never pass.

I am still in favor of Bicycles. Both conventional bikes and bikes with assist motors.

Yes Dan, there are a great deal of options. When the states start giving the tinkerers a break as far as vehicle regulation, we will see some unbelievable things happen!

This has done the rounds in the political forums a couple of times but I agree that bio-fuel is the way to go. The nay sayers quote the gasoline used today and say there isnt enough arable land to support it(Yeah in V10 pickups with all the manouverability of an aircraft carrier but without the fuel efficiency) If people used a smaller engine they would still get by. There is also the 'Air Car' made by a former Formula 1 guy. This runs on compressed air from a tank in the car and is good for a hundred or so miles at around seventy mph. Sure its not uber range but its fine for going to the store and other chores under a hundred and fifty... (how many 150 Miles + days do you have on average?) Recharge could be done via solar panels or a small (one litre diesel) that runs on waste oil running a compressor.

Budweiser Incident (not a joke!)

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those who died on the 11th of September, 2001...

Thought you might like to know what happened in a little town north of Bakersfield, California.

After you finish reading this......please forward this story on to others so that our nation and people around the world will know about those who laughed when they found out about the tragic events in New York, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon.

On September 11th, a Budweiser employee was making a delivery to a convenience store in a California town named McFarland. He already knew of the tragedy that had occurred in New York when he entered the business to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval and support of this treacherous attack.

Budweiser employee went to his truck...... called his boss and told him of the very upsetting event! He didn't feel he could be in that store with those horrible people.

His boss asked him...... "Do you think you could go in there long enough to pull every Budweiser product and item our beverage company sells there? "We'll never deliver to them again."

The employee walked in, proceeded to pull every single product his beverage company provided and left with an incredible grin on his face.

He told them never to bother to call for a delivery again. Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice for that community.

Just letting you know how Kern County handled this situation.

........And now the rest of the story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.

Pepsi called his boss who told him to pull all Pepsi products as well!!
That would include Frito Lay, etc.

Furthermore, word spread and all vendors followed suit!

At last report, the store was closed indefinitely.

Good old American Passive-Aggressive BUTT Whoopin'!

God Bless America
