OK, gotta rant(brag? whateveR) about my family again here. I lvoe 'em to death.

Some of y'all know I jsut recently finishedd school, and just a coupla weeks ago finally got into a full tiem job sollid(did temp to hire starting in September, but the 18th was my first day as full employee for the company). Problem is, I "only" am getting $30,000 a year(not braggin agat all here people, and feel horrible for those who make less. The problem is, that I have $50000 or so in school loans I'm paying on which amount to about $630/month once the last two batches come due in April). This doesn't count additiaonal regular expenses(insurance for car and truck, rent, electric, etc).

SO I occasoinally sell things on the internet for a bit of extra cash. Maybe some gun stuff, a knife I've modified, whatever. ANyways, as we all know, selling on the Internet requires pictures. Being raised by someone who was a semi professional photographer, and being raised to appreciate quality, cheapest camera I could find that met my requirements was $170. Now $170 goes a good way towards my regular bills, or towards credit cards that were about maxed out during periods without work this year. But without pictures, can't sell stuff. Mentioned it thonight to my Dad, as I knew he'd been thinking about getting a new digital camera.

His immediate response is that I can have his old camera. It's nothing special, but will get pictures on the web for me. Now he's not making that much more than me right now, and has lots of money problems from bad decisions over years with cc's, etc. But didn't think twice about letting me have that camera that he probably coudla sold.

ANyways, enough of that. Consider y'all family too, just had to brag a little on the blood relatives.

Cheers. :)

It's great to have some good relatives. Got a few myself, as well as a few turkeys. Good that you've got some 'keepers'.

Yeah, once you stop thinking about your parents as "professional nags", you can see some of the sacrifices they've made over the years. Now go and put on another sweater. :)

Father and son have a lot of quality time together. Please don't wait too late. Once they are gone they leave an awful void that is next to impossible to fill.:)

Now that you mention it, It was always funny that my Grandpa always seemed to need a new car when one of my parents cars met it's demise. Your Dad's response doesn't suprise me one bit, and I'm glad that ya had to brag a little on him ( I'm Certain he NEVER has bragged on you!;)
