Excellent point! and one you will NOT here from our biased as hell media:grumpy: It never ceases to amaze me when I read some of the "armed citizen" news stories (from local newspapers in U.S.) in American Rifleman---some of which are everybit as amazing and "newsworthy" as stories about people with guns doing bad things...like a 90 year old war veteran who defends himself against 2 armed intruders..etc...etc...etc...

Gee, I wonder why they don't report these stories?? If the old man had managed to fend them off with his cane he'd be on the today show as a hero, but since he used a gun he's just another "wacko".

I don't mind people having their own opinions on things but when they tell us that THEIR opinion is the ONLY one, and the only one that they will allow others to hear, well that burns my butt.

We can apply the same logic to drunk drivers who, I suspect but haven't bothered to look up the statistics, kill more people than guns. Let's vote prohibition back and see how well that goes.

I don't want to get off on a tirade this AM so I'll make it short. Thanks to the great and almost unbelieveable wisdom, dedication and determination of the founding fathers who established the law of this land we have seen this country grow from a handful of rebels into the greatest country in the history of the world. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Amen to that Uncle Bill. I have a drink to that one. :D

P.S. If they want to fix something, fix the Justice system that cares for the criminals rights more that the victim.
