OT: For Yvsa and all other full convex grind fans

Thanks Kamagong! I love the convex blade but the Natchez style doesn't appeal to me all that much. I much prefer the old southwest style Bowies myself.
I must say I do like tha handles on this knife. Beautiful coffin style with some exquisite materials!  :D  :D

Someone let me know if posting like that isn't kosher.

Yeah it's a new steel-pork fat blend, They also are planning on issuing blades made with that alloy to troops in the great sandbox. Good thing is you can cook an egg with it and it tastes like it was cooked in bacon grease. Yummy!

Hey you know Emerial says Pork Fat Rules!!

That always interested me that Moslems and Jews don't get along so well, but the dietary restrictions are similar.

I just was concerned because I posted the pic from a commercial website and don't want to break rules. I like to bend them, just like you Bruise.

Yes....I've spoken with Mike - big fan of the full convex grind - not too many around, so I have to keep myself "in the know"....;)

Not a big fan of coffin handle myself, but I can see why people like it so much. It's more about tradition/style than practicality/design and that's ok. Just not for me.

I also don't mind it "guardless", but I would want a finger choil or something to keep me off the blade.

Kudos to Mike & Bark River. The handle materials he posted in that thread were certainly nice.
