Danny I really do appreciate all things spiritual even though it may not seem like it at times.;)
The old ndn ways teach that all ways are good as long as there is truth, beauty, and goodness present.
And I would dearly love to be able to study kyudo among many other things, but my body in its present state won't let me stand up straight without holding onto something and even then it's only for a very short time.
At the wedding I perfromed Sunday there was a chair for me and walking around Joe & Kathie I still about fell on my ass because I wasn't using my walking stick. My nephew had to retrieve it for me so I wouldn't break the circle.:(
It is a very interesting subject from what I read about it on the website I posted. There are no instructors listed in Oklahoma.:(

Yvsa if you don't mind me asking whats causeing the pain?
maybe I can help I work with pain managment , and have greatly helped
so called hopeless causes
