OT: Getting married next week

What a trial it has been arranging this wedding. The planning, the costs, the investment in time.

People ask me if I'm getting cold feet. About getting married? NO DAMN WAY.

How the day will unravel however... :confused:

But I think positive thoughts. Clear beautiful day, vendors doing a great job, trust in my friends and family... a day of happiness, joy, and blissful nostalgic memories.


Nonetheless, I intend to face that day with will and ferocity... charging out of that limo, BAS waving in the air, yelling...

I couldn't agree more with the first part. Finding my wife was the best thing that ever happened to me.

But the one's that didn't work out were no big deal. You just cut your losses and move on. A bad marriage doesn't have to be any worse than a bad hangover. You might suffer for a little while, but it soon wears off and you're ready to get right back in the game and raise hell again.
