Mods, if this is over the top, my apologies and please lock/delete the thread:

Don't know if this is allowed here, but I'm so happy with this juicer I got for only 18 bucks (plus 6 shipping) I thought I'd share. My wife has wanted one for a long time, but the $100+ price tag always drove us away, (gotta buy more khuks).

Newegg is where I do all the pc parts purchases for my company and as I was paging through a search for "450W" power I saw... a JUICER?? It' s only how much ??!! I thought I could take a risk for 18 bucks, and while I've only had it a couple of weeks, I love it. My wife hasn't even touched it yet. Fresh fruit purchases are through the roof, and my 3 year old son loves the different juices. He also likes to help tell Daddy what to put in next for his juice. I like to think we're all a little healthier now, and you can't beat the price.

BTW, I've never had a single problem with newegg, and I've bought over $10k worth of parts from them over the past year and a half.

Hope this helps someone!

-Edited to say I sound like one of those freaks on the commercials. I always say "real people don't talk about stuff like that". Guess I'm either wrong or not real anymore.

Yes! I agree, Newegg is the best for computer stuff and juicers! Plus they sent me a free t-shirt once! And everybody loves free t-shirts!!!!!!

funny stuff....just bought some computer parts from newegg.com about 30 minutes ago.

The absolutely cheapest place to get computer parts. I paid $500 and I'll be building a PC faster than my one at work (Dell) which retails for around $1500.

Another great deal - if anybody's interested - is tirerack.com

You can get just about any tire in any size. Shipping is only around 8-10 per tire and the prices are way below the retail tire shops....like $30-40 lower...

It's hard for me to understand why anyone who knows how to build a computer would ever buy a pre-made one like Dell, etc. That's what bothers me about Mac's. I had to spend $1400 on a G4 Mac after the G5's came out while I could build a PC 2x as fast and powerful for about $500

I'll tell ya why - it's gets old having to rebuild over and over again....I was almost to the point of giving in and just ordering a Dell about a couple of years ago.....when it came time, I couldn't part with the cash....as a matter of principle....

So, I bought some parts, threw them together and that PC has lasted 2+ years. Total investment was $300 at the time. I can still use the HD, monitor, CD-RW, and keyboard from the last rebuild......I'll be tossing the case, MB & cpu - power supply burned up.

Like everything I own - I use it, and use it hard. I wore this lil pup out and I got more than my money's worth. Maybe that's why it's so easy to upgrade/rebuild. I didn't have too much in it in the first place.

I used to go cheap and get Celerons, Athlons, etc. Not this time....;)

The Athlon 64 is quite possibly the best chip available, depending on your choice of applications. Considering how big a company Intel is, it's suprising that AMD is the true innovator in the CPU market.

I also agree with Macs being overpriced... especially since they don't sell the OS seperately. If you hate windows there are plenty of other (free) alternatives.
