I have been working myself to death since I returned from South Africa and I have just received a double promotion, new position and new project. It's going well at work and in private but I need more time to be on the forums, have missed alot lately but I always pop in if not just to see whats going on, good place with good guys.

Congratulations, man!

What do you do for a living (general field is OK)?

I'm very happy for your success. Nice to see hard work recognized with advancement. It's also nice to know you CAN do the hard work and find satisfaction in it.

Be well and safe.:)

Thanks Guys, Aard vark - I work in IT, media sales for a company called "AskAlix". It's an internet directory but my new project involves selling advertising space on "Kiosks" which are being installed through Britain, its called "E-Daily". I hope it takes off but it will involve alot of hard work and stressfull times are ahead but I'll give my best !!

Brendan,

I know how new projects go. I'm a software engineer at a Silicon Valley startup. Been running top speed for about 4 years now.

Good luck.

Brendan,
Well done! It seems that the "powers to be" have taken notice of your hard work! That's always a good thing! I hope that things continue to go well for you.

We have decided to put the wedding off for a year as we need to save a bit more due to the new house but we are very happy together and a little more time won't be a bad thing. She's a star, we've had our though times as some forumites know but we worked through them and I am happy we did.
