(ot) is it possible to change the display name here?

i've been using this name for over 5 years on the internet, but for some reason, it just doesn't seem right to use here- specifically the "Lt." part, considering both the fact that i've never been in any organization that gives that title (LEO, military, etc), and also the fact that there are so many current and former LEOs and military guys here. i just started feeling uncomfortable about it.

is there a way to change the display name of my account? (some other messageboards that I frequent allow you to do that) or will I have to retire this one and reregister?

also, if the name has offended/insulted/disrespected anyone here, but you felt it was too stupid/minor of a point to bother addressing, then i'm sorry.
 
yes, this new software does allow you to change your name. I'm not sure how to do it though. It may involve an e-mail to Spark. Hit you rprofile button and see if there is something you can do.

I'd like to change my log-in name to "Blade Santa Cruz" or "BladeSC" if the other is too long. Can you post info on how to do this or, if not, please do the requested change?

Thanks for your efforts; I can see how this could become a real pain in the a$$ for you if you get a lot of these requests.
