OT: Lewis and Clark's air rifle?

If I remember correctly, the Native Americans were most impressed because it killed without a sound - which at the time was believed to be the operative source of power of most regular guns. I think it was referred to as the "Spirit Gun". :cool: Lotta airgun history literature out there....
