Can someone tell me how to go about making an "alias" for a hyperlink here on the forum. For instance, if I want readers to see "Read this" instead of "http://yaddayadda"??

Thank you for any help! :)

Mike, When you insert a link in the reply window the duplicate of the url will be highlighted, just type in what you want it to say in the highlighted area.

"Read This"

Highlight the text by holding down the left key and draggong the cursor over the text (Im sure you know how to do this already).
Go copy your URL you want to the clipboard, then click on the icon for inserting the link...paste it in the box that pops up. Done...

THANK YOU!!!! I have always just pasted links directly into the text. That tip of yours, Dave, couldn't have made it any easier. Keith, I didn't know about that tag section in the FAQ's. Good info.

Thanks for the help, guys!:) Learned something new and valuable already today!

When I read my reply this morning it sounded kind of vague, I'm glad you understood it Mike. Very cool link on the patinas
