A man was killed last weekend in the city near me. He was stabbed by a 19 year kid with a samurai sword. He got into an argument with a group of kids and next minute he's lying in a pool of his blood. The kids here are really full of £$%" !!

God bless his soul.

I presume this will mean trouble for collectors of blades in this country !! I hope they don't take away my sword/khuks !!

Probably a stainless steel piece of plastic handled garbage. Wonder it didn't snap before then.

In fact hard to believe he could put an edge on it. Not so hard to believe a semi sharpened junker could stab or slash great gaping wounds, though.

Thanks Brendan. I'll slip a Model 38 Airweight bodyguard 38spl. into my coat pocket in addition to the CZ with Hi capacity mags already out there. On second thought scrstch the Airweight. I'll take the spare CZ.

I don't know what is up with kids these days.

Kinda makes me want to put my Tarwar in my car just in case. :)

Don't you mean even more trouble? The next step is serial numbering kitchen knives and making dawn raids on houses suspected of containing overly sharp pencils.

I hope the gang who did this, and the gang who murdered the policeman get every bone in their bodies broken during 'questioning'.

I think I'd take on any punk wielding an average trophy "samuri sword" with anything in the HI line - you could just chop up the sword a foot at a time, then chop up the punk a foot at a time, too.

Unfortunately, he wouldn't have the benefit of having heard stories about the "little brown men" and what their knives can do.

:grumpy: :(

Story now changed. The cops had been there an hour before the assault, and it was with a KITCHEN KNIFE, not a sword. See if that changes the political hysteria though. "Don't bother me with the facts".

I'd take a handful of billiard balls, a rock, brick, broomhandle or ten-penny nail to this bozo...

Are rocks and nails outlawed there yet?;)
