Druids used golden sickles to harvest theirs, I've found a 16 1/2" khuk works just fine.:D ;)

I can harvest athlete's foot with a karda.

What exactly is missile toe? Is it some form of vine? I've only seen plastic.

Bruise, mistletoe is actually a parasitic plant that grows on trees. It was sacred to many of the ancient cultures of northen europe. It's use as a Christmas/Yuletide decoration has a rich history, but to save going into a lot of details, mistletoe, holly, and ivy were much used as decorations because even in winter they are vibrant and green.

In the second James Bond movie, he was out-fitted with a missle toe which he used to break open the cell he was being held in.

A 12 Guage works preety well without having to climb the tree.;)

Mistletoe is still currently used by some ndn medicine men to treat diabetes and other ailments such as heart problems and some forms of cancer.
Testimony from some people that's been or is being treated all say it's better than conventional medicine. Imagine that!!!!:)

Isn't it funny how that works, Yvsa? I always use the term "imagine that" because I don't like to say "Toldya so!" ;)

As for the Druids and their golden sickles, I imagine they could have climbed those trees a bit faster if they had H.I. Superfrogs to hang those sickles on.

Pappy, you bet right. I like to keep the heavy chopping with AKs at waist level or below where I can better control the swing and use a good chopping block or log for a backstop. For "fancy" overhead cuts, backhand slashes and such, I like to stick with the knife I've got some practice time invested in doing that sort of stuff. You guessed it. Any khuk is a tool and a weapon, this one's a weapon and a tool.;)
