So I was dead asleep today when I awoke to a gunshot that was very close and loud! So I jump up grab my m4 and get ready for whatever then I notice my uberti cattleman laying on the floor and my cat is playing with it. I usually leave it on a empty chamber but forgot after I took the dog out the other night and the cat got too it and blew a hole in my floor I took a few pics after I unloaded it and sent I pic to a member maybe he will post it later. Thank god no1 was hurt but man I haven't woke up like that since afganastan! It's nice to know that I can still move and react when I got to! Guess it's true thT training never leaves you. But that was 1 hell of an alarm clock! I will get someone to post pics of my floor up for me!

Training, training, training...now get your cat some! ;)
I put mine through urban sniper training...here's the youngest protecting my INFI stash.

...Glad only the floor took the hit! How's the cat? Have ya seen him since? :D

I thought putting a 9mm round of hardball ammo through my lap top was bad, your cat has me beat. :)

Lesson learned...I hope!;)

Yeah...keep that revolver unloaded and teach my cat gun safety! All it took was that 1 time not taking a round out and leaving it on that empty chamber. Uberti isn't the safest of the single actions!

That is why the old cowboys only carried 5 rounds in their Colts, lest they shoot themselves in the leg or foot on accident!

Glad no one has an extra hole!

Glad no one got hurt. Just goes to show that animals are out to get us. They are slowly learning how to use our weapons against us. LOL

I think he was trying to get to my ruk! I moved it and where it was before he could and loved to rub his face against the grips and part of the sheath? I do keep all my guns loaded but nothing in the chamber! But I just got lazy and didn't remove that 1 round and set it on the empty chamber so I concider it my fault. And yes it was horrific cuz I thought for sure someone was in my apt and shot at me or shot someone in the hull way and I really didn't want to get into a gunfight in my pjs...lol

Are you on the bottom floor? If not you might want to check and make sure it didnt pass through into your neighbor's place! Glad you and the kitty are ok.

There is 3-4 feet of concrete between the floors(rentavated warehouse ) but I did go down and check on him he laughed and said nope nothing came through his ceiling and he and I hungout on the roof later as he is a buddy of mine.

I'm surprised the cat was playing with it after it went off. I'da thought it would've bolted outta there!

I'm glad to hear that no one was harmed in your cat's new found interest in firearms.

Sorry, gotta say it........Gun's don't kill people, CATS kill people!!!!

Glad no one was hurt.
