Dan:
I know how you feel. My younger brother is there right now and has been there since last February. He was standing 50 yards from the Mess hall that was blown up in Mosul last Tuesday. He called home that afternoon to let us know he was alright. Will be glad when he comes home in February.

Marcel

Dan all my best wishes and gratitude go out to her and to all of our troops. That's a tough and necessary job that too few people appreciate. I think everyone here sure does, for which I'm also grateful.

Hmmm...
It's hard to peice this together in a coherent, well written though.
My thanks to her and everyone else out there, good, and may they be safe.
What's her job?

Dan, she is adorable. Tell her that camo. really brings out her eyes. She'll probably get a laugh out of it, women like those kind of comments as well. Tell her we are proud and can not appreciate her service to this country enough. Take care, Cavelady

I am proud of her too, and of all her fellow troops. I hope they all come home safely.

If only the old men who want the wars would fight them....

Thank her for serving our country and we'll keep your whole family in our prayers. I know its difficult for those left at home too.

Dan, I know your fears. My nephew was in Baghdad for 18 months, finally got to come back to the states last August and now he's been ordered back to Baghdad the first week of January 2005 for an unknowing amount of time. May God Bless and keep safe your niece, my nephew and all the other nieces, nephews, moms, dads, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters. They're doing a fantastic job in a very very tough situation.

Bill

Like I told George, prayers are said.

I don't like this war and I feel for those that are told to fight it !

PS......She is attractive. Are you sure she's related? :D :D :D

This is what she wrote me..as to what she is doing...

SFC Rideout, Angie R
MNSTC - I Health Affairs

It stands for:
Multi-national Security Transition Command - Iraq

title is: Allied Health Sciences Military School Advisor
Senior Medical NCO with advisory and oversight in the development of enlisted advanced medical education programs. Assist development and improvement of education program standards for officer and enlisted programs including medical and ancillary services.
I am working with the Iraqi forces and actually sit in the same office space. There are only 7 of us (soldiers) working on this project. They all have different job titles. Out of the 7 there are 4 army and 2 navy and 1 air force. There are 5 Iraqis mostly doctors.

yeahup :D

Thanks Dave Matt and the rest of you :)
don't let her looks deceive you, if they ( the bad ones) got a hold of her to cause her harm she'd rip there faces off..if she only had finger nails left to use..she worked as a drill SGT too..she's been in the Army for 10+ years now I think. reservist and has her RN civy rating, and going for her PA rating.
this little gal is totally self made.. Thanks All
:)

Howdy There...!
Please send my thanks to your niece for serving in this time of troubles. I have had personal experience with the same situation, one of my daughters served during the Dessert Strom action and has just been put on full disability due to the injuries she receive there. Please tell your niece to "Keep her nose to the wind and her powder dry", and come home safe...!

Later "Possum"

I just got another mail from Angie..

this is what she said after I told her about you guys and gal :) wishing her well.

Thanks very nice. I hope you all have a great holiday. I hope to be home next year for Christmas. Holidays kinda suck here. Can't wait for them to be over with. By the way, I volunteered to be here. I was not one of the ones "that were told to fight and had to come" I agree with this war and have no doubts on where I belong right now. We are doing good things for people that can't even understand what freedom is like. They have never had freedom.

Love you guys very much. I can't wait to come home on leave.....
