I need a new pair of sunglasses and want some advice from you other Hogs.
I've always worn Oakleys and still do, but it's time for a new pair and I may go to somthing else... what's your advice?

I currently have 2 pair of Oakley Zero's and 2 pair of older M-Frames "that I wear on the boat and on the mountain.

I'm thinking about a pair of the Oakley Juilet's, anyone have any experience with them?

I used to have a pair of Oakley Frogskins, but found the polycarbonate lens scratched too easy. I only use glass lenses now, my favourite is definitey Serengeti; I currently have a pair of Aviators. Serengeti's "Drivers Lens" is considered one of the best in the world...

Im in the same boat. In the past Ive bought two expensive pairs of sunglasses but lost them both. Now Ive had a cheap pair for years but they are scracthed now. Im thinking about bumping it back up to a nice pair. Although everytime I spend more then $50 on something I tell myself this is really cutting into my gun/knife money :p

I bought my last pair of Serengeti's from Costco, they were about half the price of anywhere else.

I agree with M.E., Revo also makes fantastic sunglasses, but even more pricey than the Serengeti's.

Maui Jim's!!! I live in the Sunshine State and I love them.
I have Oakleys, Bolle, Ray Bans, and Wiley's, but I like my Maui Jim Sports the best.

Take a look at Native. I've enjoyed mine.

Polarized. Clear and comfortable.

Excellent warranty: If I break them, or even scratch them, $30 gets me a new pair in the same style or (if unavailable) a comparable style.

juliets are nice, but a little small for my fat face. i would prefer he romeos over the juliets.

i normally wear half jacket xlj's. inexpensive on the gov't program, about 75.00 polarized iirc.

I'll second the rec for Maui Jims. They are terrific. I used to wear Oakleys but after having several pair (both mine and my wife's) break (in almost every conceivable place) I gave Maui Jims a shot and never looked back. We each have two pair and they are the best I've ever worn. Currently wearing Ka'anapali. I love the hingeless design.

Again, they aren't the cheapest glasses you can buy but they are, to me, the best.

Second on the Revo's. I have had a pair for over 5 years now. Expensive but worth it.

I’ve been wearing Mako sunglasses since 1998, and change model every couple of years just to have something a bit different.

Mako’s gray polarized glass lenses are a cut above everything else for the light conditions here in South Australia.

As a fly fisherman, seeing through the glare is important. Polarized lenses are a must. They work great on the lakes and with driving as well. I've been through several manufacturers and keep going back to Maui Jim's, although Revo is a close second.

I will third both the Maui Jim's and Revos, with a preference to the MJs. I have them and love them, but would not have been disappointed with the Revos had I not found the perfect pair of MJs for me.
