This is a first attempt. Let me know if its recognizable to anyone but me!

thanks!!:)

I dunno, I got a cheap monitor. Sorta looks like one of those fuzzy pictures of the Loch Ness monster.

LOL:D

Well, I guess either your monitor is really bad, or my avatar is!

I'll wait and see if anyone else can tell before I say:D

Closer--sort of. There is a hand--minus the ring and pope thing:D

Man, reducing a 110MB file to 50x50 pixels and around 5K is not healthy for image quality!:(

Ahh, then it's a duck kissing some guy's hand?

Seriously, it looks to me like someone posing as though reaching for the handle of a knife or sword.

Close enough!!:)

Its my daughter(21mo old) passing a piece of seaweed to my dad(74yrs old). The actualy pic is cool. it shows her tiny hand (on the right) passing the seaweed to his larger, weathered (lifelong carpenter:)) hand. Don't know if I'll keep this one or not, but it means a lot to me so I just might.

How the heck were we supposed to guess that? :)
Seaweed?!

I'd like to see a full sized version. Although I still think it looks like a root sticking out of the water. :D

Well, I didn't expect the seaweed part for crying out loud:D :p

I figured that someone could see that it was a child reaching out to pass something to an older person. Car keys is about as close as I could have hoped for!:D

I'm home now... I can see the avatar much clearer. Now that I know what it is, it's very touching :snif:

Then again I see Florida in there too :D

Post the full size one.

Let me see...

I'd say a young girls hand (about... oh 21 months old) passing something... maybee... SEAWEED... thats it... SEAWEED to an older person. Probably her grandad.

How close did I come??? Did I win a prize? :D.

Rob, I bet that is one heck of a photo! You should really post a larger version for us to see now that you've teased us with a 50 pixel version!

:D:D:D

Alan

The larger version is better, but not technically perfect. It was taken in full glaring noon-day sun--I know Alan is cringing right now:D WIthout fill flash to temper the harshness of the shadows. Its one of those photos that I wouldn't try to sell, but it has sentimental value.

I don't know how to post it, or other images that I have though...

The avatar was done with Yvsa's help from a previous post.

Any ideas?

Rob,

E-mail me a copy of it and I'll get it posted for you. It might take me a day or so, as I'm moving today (I hope... waiting on the new landlord to accept my application).

Alan
