After years of living with major muscle spasms, 4 years ago my dr. recommended that I see a massage therapist. I can't tell you the difference it has made!! It has taken 4 years of 2-4 visits a month and I am now moving to a higher level,ie oriental bar therapy.(she walks on me now) Is it worth it? Well around here it's $40 a visit and when the insurance co. quit paying, Eric said that was one thing that had to stay. He said something like it's the only thing that keeps me live-withable:D

So if you have muscle problems,ie. fibromyalgia/Chronic myofacial pain syndrome, etc. I highly recommend trying it. I've learned enough just from going to help Eric out, too. It's hard for him to get an appt. with his schedule, so mama had to kick in. Now to get a table so I don't have to bend over and strain myself.:D

Seriously!! It is one of the best treatments you can get and when you add up copays on other things you will drop, you will pay for it. It's not a luxury around here,It's a necessity:eek:

My LMT is a petite 120# red head female. Eric will agree with the fact that she can really work you over.

My wife used to go to a chiropractor but she moved. Also a GP would put her back in place til she retired 2 months ago.

I now work her shoulders & neck over a couple times a day til they pop. As for me, ten minutes of doing figure 8's in front of me with a 30" Sirupati usually pulls my back into alignment.

I went to the Golden Lotus massage parlor to help with the spasms in my back. The girl didn't use her hands or her feet, but actually sat on my back. It fixed me right up.

Since I was feeling so good I thought I might as well get the pain in my face taken care of but that cost extra.
