I'm afraid I can't speak on the knife in question. Why, you may ask, do I reply?

Well, I have an Entrek knife from the opposite end of the spectrum (the lynx--3 inch blade) and I'll tell you that it's a quality piece for the price. Edge grinds are not perfectly matched, but awfully close, and the rest of the grinds are all very good. Handle is comfortable and attached well, the whole thing is very well and ruggedly made. 440C is generally regarded as a pretty good blade steel, and Ray seems to know how to heat treat it properly. I, personally, would be a bit leary of doing much chopping with the Destroyer, just because of past experiences I've had chopping with stainless blades. But, barring hidden nails and accidental contacts with cement, it'd probably hold up alright. I'm really a fan of his smaller knives, as they are simple but nice, and carry well (both in size and for corrosion resistance). Sheaths are far from being the best, though.
As to a chopping knife, I'd seriously suggest you check out the knives from Swamp Rat. Same price range as a big Entrek, and lots tougher. Their customer service and warranty is every bit the equal of H.I.'s, and I recommend them just as fervently. Eric Isaacson is a great guy to deal with.
Best O'luck,
Warren
