Well off topic, AGAIN. But I have TAD jackets and hoodie. Looking at alternatives for a friend because I guess he thinks I know where to look? lol. But passed that original question onto you guys.

Now for a while since my rebirth of sorts, I have become a bag hoarder and user. I'm not ashamed to admit it lol.

But that brings me to my next question, I read online TAD gear outsourced some of their bags to Maxpedition, and other companies. I was looking at their site, and only saw a messenger style bag on there now, I distinctively remember them having other bags, does anyone know what happened? I saw how many compartments one of their bags had on a review online, and love how you can divide and organize very cleanly and effectively.

Does anyone know if they still sell other bags? Or where one could have a custom bag made based off of drawings? Been contemplating this route for a long while.

I know there are alot of soldiers out there, and gear is aimed at them, as well adventurers and such. But what about people who need rugged durability, for urban environment? Students. I've often thought of what I myself would want. Pens, Pencils, Multitool, cell phone pouch, concealed weapons compartment for CCW or maybe switching it to become a carry for your broken down rifle for range transport. Just alot of other stuff.

Anyones thoughts on that? Or what happened with tads other bags? who made other bags for them? Some complained about the stiffness of maxpeds materials, but I personally like it. I don't like my bags saggy. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

TAD commented on this on their FB page I hear. Much like some of the ESEE goods, there aren't a lot of American companies that will do some of the things companies are looking for.

So, they outsourced it. $300 jackets from overseas? Surely you jest.

I really liked the TAD Softshell.....with that being said 300 plus was OUTRAGEOUS for a jacket made overseas......Condor has pretty much the same thing for less than 100.00....I know, I know....you get what you pay for right....well the condor side by side is just as nice and has held up just as well as my friends high end TAD jacket.
