I talked to Pappy this morning while several of you were polishing your chos. (That's a joke- it's OK, Pappy and I swapped a couple of them.)
He's doing pretty good, I think. He has a chair and some crutches. The chemo therapy is making him tired. Pappy's wife is working hard to keep things together. Naturally, being limited and not active is against 67 years of habit for this man.
The computer is on the fritz at the house so Pappy hasn't been stopping by. He should be back here soon. The Doctor thinks Pappy has a good chance. So do I. The patient says he's never been a quiter and isn't now.
Neither one of us understood what Cancer is. I doubt Doctors truly understand either, but that's another topic. There's a lot of cells that don't know what they're doing, but they're doing it faster than normal, healthy cells and multiply quicker. Personally, I think those cells are in for a big surprise.
