OT Prayer Well Wishes Thread

Here is the Well Wishes and Prayers, Smoke and Handclap thread for my friend Nasty. He is passing through some amount of turbulent times in his life right now. I don't know the particulars, and I'm not going to ask or ponder the possibilities now. He hasn't really said any thing to me about it...just maybe enough so the idea of the thread came to me.

WE don't have to know Nasty's business to know he walks well and is our friend, and we wish him the very best. And whatever mild embarressment he might find with such a thread is easily overwritten by the wave of good feelings directed towards he and his own good family. Nothing to get excited about, but a wave of somber good hope to our brother. He walks behind the scenes around here, helping all the time, nipping that, tucking this, kicking a little puppy butt, smiling and taking a slight bow. I'm plopping some good stuff on him tonight when I talk to the Man. Probably doesn't change anything in the Big Course, but can't hurt either.

Remember that a little turbulence in the pipes keeps the mineral deposits from building up.

Nasty, if there's anything that can be done, this is the place to ask (as if you didn't know that). Hang in there.
 
Nasty is one of the best. Full of knowledge, full of humor, and he swings a mean ball peen. He put things in terms that even goofs like myself can understand. Here's to Nasty. I raise a pint of the black stuff in your honor tonight. Whatever can be done will be done here. We look out for our own. Nasty is indeed a pillar in the Cantina.

All of y'all stay in my thoughts. Might get aggravated at some from time to time (can't help being a little "crusty"), but I'd happily come and kill the wolf at any of you guys' doors. Sigh, if only life were that simple.

Prayers for one of the truly good guys, hang tough Nasty.

Nasty's barstool at the Cantina has an enviable low serial number, and has the best view of the widescreen TV, yet is close to the kitchen. Also, as per his request, it's been positioned so that the back can never face the door.

Hope all is really well. That was some great writing the other day.

Have been getting frankincense from the Greek grocery store. Looks exactly like whitish pebbles, with no smell.

Until I put them in a burner, with sand underneath. Enter Mr. Blowtorch.

I was raised Catholic, a long time ago. The smell of this stuff burning is the smell of church service. Weddings, funerals, mass. A holy smell memory.
