My daughter Katsuki, 10 months old, just caught tuberculous meningitis. Docter said it could be fatal 5-20%.
She'd been very active girl full of laugh and cry all day. Now she just lies on bed and do nothing else. I hope antibiotics will work for her. I myself can only stand by her and pray. Dear forumites, please give her a prayer.

I will pray for Katsuki and all of your family during this kind of crisis. How I help in some small way.

WrongFriend, every prayer I know is going out for Katsuki right now. My heart is out to you and your family.

Dear WrongFriend,

I shall remember your daughter in my prayers.

If she is getting good treatment, all should turn out well.

Yes, I will pray for your daughter.

Jesus said in John 10:10
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

Exodus 15:26
...for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

May the peace of the Lord and the glory of His power be present in your life right now, in Jesus name, Amen.

Wilco on the prayers.

Last year my 8yr old daughter, On New, fought off a bad case of pnuemonia over the course of a couple of weeks and scared us near to death. High energy and bubbly little girl just overcome , no energy. Sounds like what your daughter is going through. I think all that energy our daughters started with goes to the fight, and makes them more likely to beat it, whatever it is. Keep praying, and keep faith in your daughter's strength, she can beat it. Having mom and dad as cheerleaders helps out too.

My best wishes for her, and for the strength of you and your lady (if she is with you).

Prayers and "a sweet smelling savor" on the way courtesy of THE Sherpa ( Yangdu ) who gave me "Sherpa Incense" from Kathmandu*. In the meantime may you be granted the grace to find hope and some peace while enduring this ordeal.

( *Tell Yangdu thank you for me once again , Uncle. )

( Three dead 6-8 week old kids ended my 6 year career in social work, and there wasn't a thing I could have done to save them. But it still hurt! Believe me when I say my thoughts are very much with you. )
