The Mrs. saw him get hit, I saw him just in time to not hit him myself. Tiny thing, can't be more than ten weeks old. Kinda looks like a cat I had growing up. So we took him to our vet (we were just there yesterday taking care of our gimpy dog) and put down $50 (for a deposit) in the hopes the little guy will pull through. If he makes it we're going to have the world's most expensive kitten. If we hadn't been driving down that street at that moment, if I hadn't missed my turn, we wouldn't have seen him. What has this to do with khukuris...?

That was a great show of kindness on your part. For all the cat lovers here in Atlanta I say thank you.

Good move. We recently lost our housecat at home, possibly from 'human intervention'. That's just speculation, but very possible. It's nice to see someone with compassion helping out the critters of the world, hopefully he'll make a good pet for you.

My 2nd cat is almost the same, would've been a streetcat somewhere if I hadn't just taken it with me.

Hopefully the little thing pulls through, and....at least pets ain't as expensive as kids...:D

I spent over $500.00 to try to save my bunny Chinook. She did not make it anyway, she was just too far gone. I don't regret it a bit. I would have paid $5,000.00 if it could have saved her. Pets are wonderful and worth it.
